influence the delivery of accessible quality health care for all Filipinos.
The National Seminar of the Project of Strengthening of Local Health System in the Province of Benguet was held last February 16 – 18, 2011 in Hotel Elizabeth, Baguio City. The objectives of this event are: (1) to share experiences and lessons learned from the Project (especially with representatives from CAR Region) and (2) to develop action plan to sustain and expend the achievement of the project. This seminar was well attended by more than a hundred and thirty participants from government health workers of the province of Benguet and CAR, representatives from different international donors (Japan Embassy, JICA, and USAID), from the DOH Central office (USEC, ASEC, and Directors), the different CHD Regional Directors) and local Executives(Governors and Mayors).
We attribute the success of the project because of its theme “PAGKAKAISA PARA SA KALUSUGAN”.
